Here’s what’s new and improved with Alumio version 3.124.0:
New and improved
See Realtime Processing and Waiting tasks in the Route Builder
The Route Builder now shows whether a route has Realtime Processing enabled. When it is, the “New tasks” icon is muted and the option to add schedulers is disabled, with an info text explaining why when you hover over them. When the Waiting status feature is enabled, the “Finished tasks” node is replaced by an orange “Waiting tasks” node that links to the documentation.
Delete and list files from within a transformer
You can now delete files and list files directly from a transformer. Previously, deleting files was only possible from an incoming, so you can now remove files at any point in your flow, for example only the files that pass a filter.
A new, safer Database connector
A new Database connector is now available. It works with raw queries only, and values are passed to the query separately (for example:sku) instead of being written into the query as placeholders. This makes your database queries safer and more predictable. The previous Database connector is now deprecated, and we recommend using the new connector for new integrations.

Fixes
Fixed HTTP proxies failing with binary responses and merged GET parameters
An HTTP proxy with “Merge GET parameters” enabled, a response transformer and the Binary formatter no longer fails with an error. The response is now formatted after your transformers have run.Fixed long-running queue processes stopping after a lost database connection
Queue processes that run for a long time are no longer stopped when the connection to the database is briefly lost and restored. You no longer have to restart these processes manually.Fixed unreadable error messages from the SOAP connector
Errors from the SOAP connector are now shown as a clear, readable message instead of a long block of unreadable text.Fixed Code transformer variables shown as missing environment variables
Variables used inside template strings in a Code transformer are no longer reported as missing environment variables on the Environment variables page. Your code already ran correctly; the page now shows this correctly too.Fixed error logs showing only a generic error
Error logs now show the actual error message for every type of log, for example when an incoming configuration can’t be built. You no longer need to export the log to see what went wrong.Release schedule
