Accessing Alumio

Alumio can be accessed via: To log in, an environment code is required. After entering the environment code, the login flow continues for that specific environment.

Login methods

Alumio supports multiple ways to authenticate. Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is required for all login methods. If you lose access to your authenticator app, contact support@alumio.com to reset your MFA.

Microsoft Social accountLog in with a personal Microsoft account. Business accounts are not supported via this method.
Azure AD, SAML, OpenID, Google WorkspaceEnterprise SSO options available on Enterprise licenses. Contact your administrator to configure these.
Email and passwordCreate a dedicated Alumio account using your email address and a password. MFA setup is required on first login.
Passkey or biometricOnce your account is set up, register a passkey or biometric authenticator for faster future logins

User preferences

User preferences are personal settings that apply only to your account and do not affect other users in the environment. They are accessible via the profile icon in the top-right corner of the dashboard. Date and time format –– Alumio lets you customise how dates and times are displayed across the interface. The default format is based on your browser locale.

Cookie consent –– when you first visit your Alumio environment, a cookie banner is displayed. You can accept or decline cookie collection (Google Analytics, Hotjar, and YouTube). Your current consent status is visible under User preferences and can be reset at any time. Reload dashboard –– if you cannot see new features after a platform update, this is usually caused by a stale browser cache. The Reload dashboard option under User preferences clears the cache directly in Alumio, without affecting your browser settings.
