Accessing Alumio

Alumio supports multiple ways to authenticate. Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is required for all login methods. If you lose access to your authenticator app, contact support@alumio.com to reset your MFA.First-time access
If you have been added to an environment by an administrator and this is your first time using this login method, you must first click Sign up on the login page and register using the exact email address you were added with. This step is only required for email and password login –– other methods such as Google or Microsoft do not require it. MFA setup is required on first login.User preferences
User preferences are personal settings that apply only to your account and do not affect other users in the environment. They are accessible via the profile icon in the top-right corner of the dashboard. Date and time format –– Alumio lets you customise how dates and times are displayed across the interface. The default format is based on your browser locale.
Cookie consent –– when you first visit your Alumio environment, a cookie banner is displayed. You can accept or decline cookie collection (Google Analytics, Hotjar, and YouTube). Your current consent status is visible under User preferences and can be reset at any time.
Reload dashboard –– if you cannot see new features after a platform update, this is usually caused by a stale browser cache. The Reload dashboard option under User preferences clears the cache directly in Alumio, without affecting your browser settings.
Alumio assistant: enable the option in User preferences. If you hid it and the sparkles icon no longer appears, set this option to Show Alumio assistant to bring it back. Whether you can use the assistant also depends on your role and on whether it is enabled for your environment. See Alumio Assistant for details.
Forms –– enable the option in User preferences, and you’ll see whether sections such as the conditions in a Conditional Transformer, open collapsed or expanded. You can still use the expand all and collapse all option inside a form to change the view while you work.
Tasks –– choose whether a task opens in a modal on top of the current page or as a full page. Entity data in the task detail view is shown expanded by default in both layouts.
Logs –– set the default log level that log views open with, so you don’t have to select it again each time you view logs. You can still change the level in a log view when you need to.
