# Math: floor

> Rounds to the next lowest integer.

};

Rounds to the next lowest integer. The fractional part of a number is dropped, so the value is pushed down to the whole number below it and `4.9` becomes `4`. A number that is already whole stays the same. Use this when you must always round down, for example working out how many complete bundles fit into an available quantity.

This documentation describes: [Schema](/schemas/mapper/math-floor)

## Fields

This mapper has no settings to configure. Point it at the number you want to round and it does the rest.
