Cleaning up the data by key

Example transformer to clear or empty an existing node.

Add another transformer and select the Move using a pattern transformer. In the Pattern field, use the products node and for the destination as well. The reason we do this is to use the underlying logic in the pattern move transformer. It first copies the data to the new node and then removes the original data node. Because we moved it to the same location, the original node is deleted.

If we run the transformer tester now on the right, we can see that the original products node is removed, and we are left with the products-grouped node.

Now we can apply the same trick to remove the configurable products from the products-grouped node.

So add another pattern move transformer and use, for both the pattern and replacement: products-grouped.configurable.
